Friday Fancies: wishing for Spring

I am sat here, daydreaming of sunnier days, where I can wear a cute little shirt dress and sandals, just like below. 

As I look out the window, this is unfortunately not the case today. 

The wind is blowing, the rain is pouring down, and there is even threat of more snow on the way. 

Good old British weather, always keeping us on our toes!

Spring is (sort of) on its way!




This is typically not the colours I usually go for, but as this week's Friday Fancies theme is Hello Spring, then I wanted to create an outfit that would make me smile and skip around fields surrounded by beautiful flowers. 

A girl can dream!

    Those shoes are adorable, I can see myself heading to topshop on payday! This weather is depressing, I can't believe this time last year we were having bbqs and this year it is still wind, rain and snow.

    Ha ha it is the same here in NY and we are supposed to get 5 inches of snow tomorrow. Ugh when will spring arrive!!
