My wedding will (hopefully!) be quite informal as we are not getting married in a church, so I thought a relaxed, wavy look would be the best option. The more and more I research wedding hairstyles though, the more I fall in love with the idea of having my hair up!
Pinterest is the main reason for my indecisiveness! There are so many gorgeous hairstyles in my wedding inspiration folder...but I have managed to narrow down a few of my favourites.
~ Lauren Conrad is always a good 'go to' for hairstyle inspiration. This one below is stunning, and perfect way to wear your hair down in a modern, curly fashion
~ I have also fallen in love with the idea of loose waves, and a white flower in my hair as a simple accessory
~ Now this is the picture that started my love of elegant 'up do's'! A ballerina bun is so chic, and suits the vintage feel of this wedding below
~ Sparkling headbands - are they a yes or a no? I think they're quite sweet!
~ I adore this 1920's inspired look...I could look at this all day!
~ Last but not least, another sweet hairstyle, with a little braid giving it a more informal look
As you can tell, I really can't decide which look to go for! Has anyone got any favourites out of this bunch?
xx
When the time comes for someone to make an honest woman out of me, I'm almost certain that I'll take loose, natural curls a la Lauren Conrad than an up-do or anything too structured or overdone. For me at least, it's all about looking natural as possible!
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, I love the ballerina bun and the chignons in the photos that you posted. Really envious of girls who can pull it off! And thumbs up to the sparkly headbands - I'd choose that over a tiara!
I think loose waves, perhaps with a few bits pinned up, would suit you :)
ooo some excellent advice there, thanks lovely!
Deletealso....agree about tiara's eeek....i'm not a fan!
DeleteMy wedding hair was most like LC's! I wore it down with a rhinestone headband :)

I really really LOVE the second one! Such a classic look!
ReplyDeleteI love the chignon in the last picture and the half-up + waves LC is sporting in the first shot! One is dressy but without being stuffy, the other feminine but casual. LOVE!
ReplyDeleteI love the ballerina bun and the 1920's inspired look!
ReplyDeletethanks girls!
ReplyDeletethere are too many great wedding hair ideas you posted here. i definitely think it is important to still look yourself i love the pearl or beaded headbands. i definitely love the wavy look. i would be able to tell what hairstyle would be best if i saw your dress but since im sure you don't want to share until the big day then go with what you love the most!
ReplyDeleteI think you could definitely incorporate all of those things into a half up, half down do. Then you'd get the best of both worlds and could choose any pretty pins or headbands, or add braids too! x

some fantastic advice here, thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI'm digging the 20's inspired one, but I suppose it depends on the dress. All look great to my mind!
